It has been confirmed that original actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson will reprise their iconic roles in the newest chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The film is currently in production.

The actors are slated to play Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, respectively. Speculation suggests their cameos will take the form of a future-set scene, considering the original saga concluded with their characters settled into family life.
