The young golfer can count on multiple high-profile backers when she begins her first LPGA appearance later this week.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, obtained a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
The former president, an avid golfer, operates multiple golf courses and frequently plays against his granddaughter.
"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we have competitive games," she mentioned.
She mentioned that Trump, unable to come, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa essentially suggested to compete and enjoy myself," she continued.
"To me, he's just a normal grandpa. He can't make it for the tournament. He's busy with presidential duties, so he's rather occupied."
While still amateur, Kai has played in just three tournaments this year and has ranking 461 in AJGA rankings.
But she can seek guidance from Tiger Woods, who is dating her mother.
"He is the best player worldwide," the young golfer said.
"And he's an even better individual. He told me to compete, relax, following the flow."
She'll challenge some of most prominent players in women's golf at the competition, such as world number two the champion, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Tournament organizers commented that her participation exposes golf to wider groups, especially among the next generation.
The social media influencer boasts millions of followers and has started a personal apparel and wellness company.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
